You are looking for a new cat tree. But not just any. It has to be sturdy, match your interior, and above all: your cats have to love it. You don't want another tree that your cat turns its nose up at. In this blog, we dive into the experiences of cat owners, with photos and honest reviews. Because who can help you better choose the perfect cat tree than owners who have tested it themselves? In our new blog series "The perfect cat tree: tested and approved by our loyal customers"  together we find out which cat tree suits you and your buddy with the help of the fans who have enjoyed it. Today we put the Kilimandjaro in the spotlight.

How many cats do you have?

Whether you have one fluff ball or a pack of cats with attitude, the number of cats matters a lot when choosing a cat tree. Do you have multiple cats? Then you want multiple baskets, sitting spots, and scratching zones. Cats can share, but territory is still a bit of an issue. With the Kilimandjaro, you give each cat its own place without them getting in each other's way. Thanks to the spacious baskets, multiple levels, and sturdy scratching posts, there is plenty to explore, chill, and scratch.

Excellent for households with multiple cats.

Race, behavior & age — does it really matter?

Of course! An 8 kg Maine Coon has slightly different needs than a young 3 kg Sphynx. Young cats want to jump, climb, and dive into everything. Older cats want a bit more peace, stability, and seek lower resting spots. The Kilimandjaro offers something for every cat; from playful climbers to calm enjoyers.

What does your house look like (and does it fit)?

You can buy such a beautiful cat tree, but if it feels like a skyscraper in your living room... then you will be less content. That is why it is smart to see if you need a corner model, a narrower tower, or rather a low and wide pole. Fortunately, the Kilimanjaro is delivered in separate, adjustable parts. So you don't have to use all the parts if you want to build it a bit lower.

Always super quality, very sturdy with the wild ones here at home! Had tried a cheap scratching post elsewhere once, but really cheap = expensive on the long run (lasted 5 months🙈) No other brand in the house anymore, the bigger purchase pays for itself twice over.

How about installation?

Let's be honest: no one wants to spend hours swearing over screws, parts, and manuals in 4 languages. Fortunately, our RHR scratching posts are quick and easy to assemble. And the cats are happy to help as supervisors 😺

Even before it was assembled, they were already inside.
