Sacred cat of Burma
Alexandra came into contact with a breeder through her cousin, who also happened to have bought a cat from the breeder. ‘When I got to the breeder, all I wanted to do was take Maja home. She was so small and tender and she adored me too. Unfortunately, she was too small to go home with me right away.’
Maja is a Burmese, a long-haired cat distinguished by a silky coat, deep blue eyes and contrasting white gloves on each paw. She turns six this year. ‘She is our little princess who loves attention and licking my husband's hair,’ Alexandra tells us.
Little clown
Their other cat, Lupo, is two years younger than Maja. ‘Lupo is our little clown. He is also very much in love with me, which he shows me on a daily basis. The moment we first looked into each other's eyes, it's like we both knew we had to be in each other's lives. I hope they will both continue to enrich our lives for a long time,’ says Alexandra. Even when she goes to bed, Lupo follows her. ‘He comes to say goodnight, cuddles me for a while and then he goes back to his own bed.’
The best we could have ever gotten for our cats
Best purchase
Maja and Lupo have two scratching posts, the Kilimandjaro and the Maine Coon Tower. Alexandra and her partner appreciate the quality and stability. ‘The cats appreciate the space they get to sleep and cuddle. When we are at work, they both find their way to their favourite sleeping spots. These two scratching posts are honestly the best thing we could have ever bought for our cats.’
