Bengalis are real homebodies

Carly has always had cats, and for one of her sons' birthdays, they decided to give a wonderful gift: a cat! And not just any cat, they added a Bengal cat with beautiful markings in its coat to their family. Of course, the birthday boy got to choose his name; he was named Lynx, and he owes that to his beautiful coat.

Carly already knew then that Lynx couldn't be left alone. That's why they got another Bengal for their other son's birthday. And he was named Loki, because her son loves Marvel so much! A Bengal gets along well with other pets, but they must not like peace and quiet. That's why Carly chose a second Bengal; they immediately got along well because they are both playful, energetic, and a bit chaotic.

Lynx and Loki are kept well occupied by the family, Carly's boys love playing with them. Bengals enjoy being entertained with target training and Loki can, for example, amuse himself for hours with fetch. "The rope toy of their cat tree is also always handled roughly," Carly says. Once worn out, Lynx and Loki often lie together upstairs in the lounge bed.

Who knew cats could love water so much?

Water cats

"Loki and Lynx are obsessed with water, they even love showering with the kids. Who knew cats love water so much?" says Carly. Well, unlike other cats who seem to think the world ends if they get wet, Bengals usually love water. They seem to have an extreme fascination with it.

Besides being social, Bengals are also very smart. The fact that they are also very curious doesn't make it any easier. They always want to know what's behind a closed door, and if they really want to, they often manage to actually open it.

"Lynx can even turn on taps, which isn't ideal if you have tank water." The cats don't really care what kind of water it is, they will do everything to make a fun game out of it.
