In love with a photo

When Tony started his search for a Cattery for British Shorthairs, it took a while before he found one where he felt right. When he found one where everything was perfect, he had to wait for the next litter. "I waited almost a year, but I absolutely didn't mind. I had time and patience. The choice was made consciously and now it was just a matter of being patient," he says.

Tony had the second choice from the litter and when he saw Bowie, he immediately fell in love with his little face. Based on some photos, he had already made that choice in his mind, but of course, it could have been different in real life. But Tony now confirms 100%: "we were meant for each other!"

The paradise

In terms of personality, Tony and Bowie have a lot in common; both are social and have a warm and gentle character. Although they both enjoy being in company, they also like to retreat and isolate themselves occasionally. Bowie likes to do that comfortably on top of his Maine Coon Sleeper cat tree. In the large round chair at the top, under a blanket, he prefers to sleep the most.

Because Tony consciously has no children, he considers Bowie as his child. “I wish him paradise, he means so much to me!” Tony says. He also likes the idea of carrying the care and responsibility for him.

Proper

There are countless advantages to having a cat, Tony now knows. Especially that they are such clean animals, he finds that very nice. Bowie cleans himself and has used the litter box from the very beginning. Only Bowie likes to take it a step further: "He even follows me to the shower, lets me brush his teeth without any problems, and also allows his nails to be clipped," Tony confirms.
