Jealous of a Ragdoll

Unconditional love

Trish grew up with cats. "My cats are everything to me, they are my world. If I have a good day, they make it even better. Or if I have a bad day, they put a smile on my face. When I hug them, it feels as if I can forget all my worries for a moment. Their love is unconditional," Trish says. "It feels like I always have a companion nearby. They are actually my two shadows. It doesn't matter what I do or where I am, they are always close by."

Patience

Her cats may be her everything, but it is not always as easy as it seems. "My cats are quite picky about what they want to eat, so that is already not so simple. They are also real fluff balls, our house is full of their hair. To be honest, you really have to put some time into them," says Trish. Not that she would want it any other way. "Don't get me wrong, I can't imagine a life without them. I enjoy taking care of them. I also just like to stay home for them, because once I am away, I miss them."

Dog manners

The two Ragdolls also have special ways, some would even dare to call it dog behavior. "Ovie can fetch! Not always, of course, he is still a cat. He chooses when he feels like it, but still... They can really lie on their backs for hours, waiting for me to rub their bellies. Not many cats like that."

Cat room and more

Ovie and Dex have everything they want, they can fully enjoy their lives with Trish. They not only have their own cat room, they also have six Cat trees! "We bought for them the Cat trees Devon Rex, Cat Penthouse, Corner Coon, Maine Coon Lounge, Maine Coon Tower and scratching post Coony 80," says Trish. "Three of them are in their cat room so they can play there. The other three are in our bedroom. We were so looking forward to seeing the Cat trees in real life, especially the hammocks. My husband and I are even a little jealous! We want one too, but one in our size of course," says Trish with a smile.

You would think they would lie somewhere different every day, but that is usually not the case. Ovie and Dex both have their favorite spots. "Ovie is really a fan of the hammocks, so you will usually find him in one. If he’s not lying there, he’s probably sleeping somewhere on the Devon Rex. Dex, on the other hand, is a fan of the Corner Coon itself, he’s probably lying there."
