Every week we search for interesting stories about cats and their owners. This week we ended up in Texas, America. On Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, the account @lifewithmainecooncats has more than 50,000 followers! In total, they currently have 5 cats, of which 4 are Maine Coons and one is a Ragdoll mix. The first purebred Maine Coon, Molly, caused them to become addicted to the breed and start their own YouTube channel.
Addicted to Maine Coon cats
They currently have five cats, but for this blog, we focus on their first Maine Coon, Molly. She is the queen of the house, and they adore her. Molly is five years old and a purebred Maine Coon. When they were looking for a cat, they wanted a breed known for its dog-like personality, and the Maine Coon fit that description perfectly. They initially wanted a male cat, but when her brother was reserved, they couldn't resist Molly's cuteness. So they decided to put a deposit on her and waited months before they could pick her up.

After a few months, Molly was ready to be picked up, and the couple flew to Tennessee to meet her. They stayed in a hotel, and the breeder brought Molly to them. The couple was nervous and excited to meet her. Molly was everything they hoped for, but at first, she didn't show much interest in them. However, as time passed, their bond grew stronger and now Molly feels like their own child.
“Molly's personality is wonderful, and she is friendly to everyone she meets. She has taught us a lot about love and kindness, and we are grateful for that,” the couple praises. Shortly after Molly joined them, they decided to bring Annie, the Ragdoll mix, into their home. Annie is one day older than Molly, and from the very beginning, they have been buddies.

Molly is the reason they started a YouTube channel, where the couple wants to inform people about what it is like to live with Maine Coon cats and to introduce them one by one to everyone.
Molly is a talkative cat and friendly to everyone, unlike her owner, who is introverted. Despite their differences, they share a close bond, and Molly has taught her owner to be kinder and more open to new people. However, Molly can get nervous in a new environment, but she warms up quickly. She is very sweet and has won the hearts of everyone who has met her.

Molly is also the reason the couple's opinion about cats changed, and they can no longer imagine a life without a cat. Molly means everything to them, and they treat her like their own child. She gives them so much love in return and teaches them something new every day.
The couple also ensures that Molly and the other cats lack nothing. They are certainly spoiled; the couple makes sure the cats have the best toys and materials. Of course, they also have various Cat trees, below is an overview of their favorites:
