With a height of no less than 1.6 meters, this scratching post offers plenty of space to relax, sleep and play. At the top you will find an extra large 60 x 45 cm lounge with a comfortable 16 cm raised edge. In addition, there is the wonderfully soft luxury hammock with a diameter of 45 cm, tested for a weight bearing capacity of up to 20 kg – ideal for heavy cats or several cats at the same time. The two spacious Retreat houses are equipped with thick, hand-washable cushions so that your cats can always retreat in ultimate comfort. Perfect for afternoon naps or just to hide away for a while. With no fewer than six sturdy sisal poles, the longest of which is 50 cm, even the largest cats can stretch out completely while scratching. This not only ensures healthy nails, but also good stretching and movement of the muscles and joints. Thanks to its weight of 42 kg and the wide base plate, the Norwegian Cat Retreat stands as solid as a rock. This scratching post can easily handle 4 to 5 cats at the same time, without compromising stability. As you have come to expect from us, all parts can be reordered separately and are easy to assemble with the included mounting materials.

I recently brought home two Birman kittens and, after a lot of research, decided on this cat tree and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. Cat trees can be pricey, but this one is absolutely worth it. It’s solid, well-made, and sturdy enough to handle both playful kittens and full-grown cats. My two learned to use it straight away, and now they spend hours climbing, playing, and napping on it. If you’re considering a cat tree, don’t waste money on something flimsy, invest in this one and your cats will thank you.
This tree is so sturdy, big amazing quality and looks stunning in our living room. It was very easy to build and all my 4 Ragdolls love it. Customer service is excellent as well. Definitely recommend buying from RHR!
