The most beautiful moment that Lena and Olaf experienced with their Bombay cat Karmilla was when Karmilla was reunited with her two sons Monty and Balu. At a family reunion, they saw each other again after a long time. They had to get used to each other for a while, but soon it was a wonderful sight.
Karmilla came to Lena and Olaf from Bremen at the age of 3, and they already had two daughters of Karmilla, Pi and Ra. In total, Karmilla has had seven kittens and now enjoys life together with her family.
For two years now, Michelle and her boyfriend have been proud owners of the sweet black tomcat James. It was love at first sight and since then they can't live without each other. Contrary to the saying "black cats bring bad luck," James brings a lot of love, happiness, and laughter every day. When we ask Michelle about a happy moment, it never stops at just one. "When I wake up and am greeted by a happy cat and a sweet purr, always right around 7 o'clock. When we enjoy our night's rest together and sleep the whole night together, you read that right: at night we actually sleep together for several hours without James getting the zoomies! Super cozy! Or when he, together with my boyfriend, is
playing. But especially when, after a long day of work, I know that James is already standing by the window because he hears my car, eager to greet me; this immediately puts a smile on my face," she says. Actually, there are so many more moments, for Michelle James is one big explosion of happiness.
As far as Deborah is concerned, there is not one specific moment of happiness. For her, every day with her black cats Norah and Noxx is a day filled with happiness. It starts early in the morning when they wake up together, continues throughout the day, and in the evening when they fall asleep again. Norah and Noxx have their own room, a Corner Coon and a Devon Rex, but they also often lie in bed with Deborah. “I can only enjoy this,” she says.
Sanne has always been a great animal lover. Animals that bring bad luck? Sanne doesn't buy into that. Since she started living on her own, she immediately took the chance to become a real cat mom. Including to Saar, a black cat who was very shy at first but also very cuddly. She got the fitting sweet name Saar. Saar lives together with her brothers Gijs and Moos and they provide lots of fun adventures, cuddles, and playtime every day.
“Many people who come here also call Saar 'Diva', and she often behaves accordingly. Saar loves luxury wet food, but leaves the kibble alone. Besides, she also finds my food very tasty... so now and then she gets a little lick! Saar knows very well how to look sweet to get that every time... Her beautiful, yellowish eyes really stand out, and that's how she manages to charm me over and over again,” says Sanne. Of her 3 cats, Saar is definitely the biggest foodie.
When Saar comes to lie with Sanne, sometimes even on top of her
head, then Sanne hears her spiders and knows that Saar is completely at ease. Yes, Sanne talks about being very lucky with her cuddlebug Saar.
Tanya from Australia also shares her happy moment with her black cat Bumble Bee, who got his name from Tanya's daughter. According to Tanya, Bumble is the best cat ever; they got him from a shelter when he was still small and found him immediately adorable. Bumble even likes to go shopping, they put his harness on him and he loves it.
Tanya says that Bumble is absolutely amazing, "he has never used his claws". Bumble is so incredibly sweet, he loves everyone and every cat. Meanwhile, Tanya has rescued two more cats from the shelter, and Bumble is friendly and gentle with them too. "I am very lucky to have found Bumble, and he is treated like a king in this house," says Tanya.
