4.5 years ago, Mitchell took in the two European Shorthairs, and since then they have brought life and coziness to the home. Before this, Mitchell had never had cats before, and he honestly admits, "I didn't know how much fun they are!" Because from the moment he went to see them, he was in love with the brothers whom he named Lio and Tijger.

That Mitchell and his cats have become the 3 musketeers over the years is noticeable to his colleagues. Between daily tasks, we often get to see sweet photos and videos and funny stories. What turns out? Lio and Tijger even resemble Mitchell a bit, they are all quite stubborn and a little cheeky, love lying together on the couch, and the cats like to climb on the beams in the house, and Mitchell also throws plenty over the beam on weekends.

We also call Mitchell the cat dad of the office, because besides Lio and Tijger often being mentioned here at the workplace, it became even clearer how crazy Mitchell is about his cats when Tijger got sick. Fortunately, he is completely fine again!

Hide and seek

Within RHR Pets, Mitchell serves as the E-commerce Manager, but you may have spoken to him on the phone or by email because he also likes to help our customers. But basically, his department handles everything related to the websites (currently 18 worldwide, and more are coming!), products, and online marketing. You could say that Mitchell takes a bit of advantage of this, as he lets Lio and Tijger appear three times on the RHR Pets homepage. Have you spotted them yet?

Advantages of the job

That Mitchell works at the cat trees specialist, Lio and Tijger naturally reap the benefits. So of course, you will find our cat trees at their home, including an extended Maine Coon Lounge. Meanwhile, Mitchell is also involved in the development of new products. He is very proud of that, “We work with a top product, and we manage to achieve a lot with a great team, thinking up, executing, and developing things that I stand 100% behind!” Mitchell says when I ask him what he enjoys most about his work at RHR Pets, “and, not to forget the Vrij-mi-bo,” he continues.
